Qubii backup cubes

Qubii Duo, Power & EX

The auto-backup cubes — and the backup charger that works while you sleep.

Qubii Duo auto-backup cube
Does Qubii need wifi, an app or a cloud account?

No. Qubii backs up straight to the device in your hand — there's no wifi, no cloud and no subscription. You set it up once, and everything stays local and private to you.

Does it work with both iPhone and Android?

Yes. The Qubii range covers both — there are models for iPhone and models for Android phones with a USB-C port. Check the model you're buying for the exact connector, and you can carry your backup across when you switch sides.

Do I need to buy a memory card for the Duo or the EX?

It depends on the model. Qubii EX has storage built in, so it's ready out of the box — no card to buy. Qubii Duo and Qubii Power use a microSD card you supply, which lets you choose your own capacity and swap it later.

How do I restore my photos to a new phone?

Plug Qubii into the new phone, open the restore option, and bring your photos, videos and contacts back. Because the backup lives on the device itself, you don't need your old phone present to recover everything.

What does Qubii Power do that the others don't?

Qubii Power is the backup charger: it sits between your phone and its charging cable, so while your phone tops up overnight it quietly backs up at the same time. You get charging and backup from one habit you already have.

Piconizer 4

iPhone storage, expanded

Move photos and videos off your phone and free up space — without deleting a thing.

What does Piconizer do that Qubii doesn't?

Qubii makes an automatic backup while keeping the originals on your phone. Piconizer is portable storage you move files onto — copy photos and videos across, then remove them from your phone to reclaim space, while they stay safe on the Piconizer.

Is Piconizer 4 MFi-certified for iPhone?

Yes. Piconizer 4 is built to Apple's MFi standard, so it's made to work reliably with iPhone and iPad and won't trip the "accessory not supported" warning.

Does it need an app or an internet connection?

You use the free companion app to browse and move files, but no internet or account is required — transfers happen directly between your phone and the Piconizer, and your files never leave the device.

Can I view photos straight from the Piconizer?

Yes. You can open photos and play videos directly from the Piconizer in the app, so you can keep your whole library to hand even after clearing it off the phone.

Nukii

The encrypted drive

Hardware-encrypted storage for the files you can't afford to lose or leak.

Nukii encrypted flash drives
How is my data on Nukii protected?

Nukii encrypts your files in hardware on the drive itself. Until it's unlocked the contents are unreadable, so a lost or stolen drive is just an encrypted brick to anyone who finds it.

What happens if I forget my key or password?

There's no back door — that's the point of real encryption. If the key is lost, the data can't be recovered, so keep your credentials somewhere safe. We'd rather you never lose access than leave a way for someone else to get in.

Does the encryption need special software to run?

Because the protection lives on the drive, you don't have to install encryption software on every computer you plug into. Unlock the drive, and it behaves like ordinary storage for as long as it's connected.

Who is Nukii for?

Anyone carrying sensitive files — client work, financial records, IDs, research, private photos. If losing the drive would mean more than just losing the files, Nukii is built for you.

Memory card

UHS-I A2 V30

A fast, dependable microSD card for your Qubii, camera or handheld.

Maktar microSD memory card
What do UHS-I, A2 and V30 actually mean?

They're speed ratings. UHS-I is the bus the card uses; V30 guarantees a sustained write speed steady enough for smooth video; and A2 is tuned for fast app and file performance. Together they mean the card keeps up when you're recording or backing up.

What is this card good for?

It's a strong all-rounder: pair it with a Qubii Duo or Power for backups, drop it into a camera for photo and video, or use it in a handheld console or drone. The V30 rating means it handles high-resolution video without dropping frames.

Will it work with my Qubii?

Yes — it's a standard microSD card, so it fits the Qubii models that use a card (Duo and Power). It's a simple way to add the capacity you want to your backup cube.

Orders, shipping & warranty

Getting it, and keeping it working

How delivery, returns and support work after you order.

Where do you ship, and how long does it take?

We ship to most regions worldwide. Orders are usually prepared within a couple of business days, and delivery time then depends on your location and the option you pick at checkout. You'll get tracking once your order is on its way.

How long is the warranty?

Maktar hardware comes with a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. It doesn't cover accidental damage or normal wear, but it has you covered if something goes wrong with the device itself.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Reach out through our contact page with your order number and a short description of the problem. We'll help you troubleshoot first, and arrange a repair or replacement if the device is faulty under warranty.

How do I move my backup when I switch phones?

Plug your Qubii into the new phone and run a restore — your photos, videos and contacts come across. Since the backup lives on the device, you can move between phones, and even between iPhone and Android, without losing what you've saved.
