No, Qubii is designed as a backup that can store your photos outside of your phone so it is not synced to your phone storage. Deleting photos from your iPhone will not delete the photos stored in your Qubii.
No, Qubii automatically starts to backup your camera roll when you plug in your phone so you’re not able to select specific photos for backup.
Qubii is more secure than other Cloud backup methods because our backup processes are completely local. Unless you are actively processing data by downloading from your iCloud or downloading images/videos from social media, Qubii can function completely without WiFi. You can test this by turning off your WiFi function and updating your backup - you'll notice that there is no gap in service and no WiFi requirement to enable uploads throughout your usage process.
You can be rest assured that your photos are going directly from the source onto your microSD card in the Qubii. Our automatic download feature is designed to be secure and easy so that everyone can have a simple and safe backup without having to worry about privacy infringements.
The default file system on a retail 32GB microSD card (FAT32) actually has a file limit of 4GB meaning that most of your iPhone videos exceed that limit due to higher resolution. To ensure all your videos get backed up, your Qubii app will detect the file system of your memory card and update it to enable a larger file size (exFAT).
Because of the need to reformat, please make sure to save any important data on your microSD card elsewhere before you use it with Qubii.
