Q: How does Piconizer™ work?

A: Piconizer™ works with its own App on the iOS devices. When you connect Piconizer™ to your iPhones or iPads, the system should auto request to download the App from the Apple App store.

Q: Which Apple devices does Piconizer™ support?

A: iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, 6S & iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 7 & 7 Plus - iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3 - iPod touch (5th Generation)

Q: How does it free space on my iPhone?

A: Apps, iTunes Music and photos stored in the camera roll are the most space consuming items. We offload your photos and videos from your iOS device to the Piconizer™ accessory. Consider Piconizer™ to be an extension of your photo and video storage.

Q: Does Piconizer™ work with my iPhone 4s?

A: No. Piconizer™ is compatible with all Apple products that contain the Lightning Connector. This includes the iPhone 5 and later models, and the 4th generation iPad, as well as later models of iPads.

Q: What about iCloud? Why can't I just use that?

A: iCloud is Internet dependent. If you are on the go with no access to Wi-Fi, you will not be able to save any of your old photos or videos to make room for new ones.

Q: Can I share Piconizer with others?

A: Yes. When you use Piconizer™ on other i-devices, it will detect the new device and create a new folder for it. You can always add a passcode to your folder to secure your data.

Q: Can I access my photos and videos on a computer later?

A: Yes, you can. On the bottom of Piconizer, there’s a microUSB port that you can plug into your computer.

Q: Can I cancel or edit my order ?

A: We're not able to edit orders once they've been placed. If you need to make changes or request a cancellation, please reach out to us ASAP with the details and we'll do our very best to take care of it. Please email us at support@maktar.com

Q: How long will it take for my order to ship and deliver?

A: Normally, your order should arrive within 4-7 business days. It depends on the method of delivery requested at the time of your order.

Q: What is the status of my order ?

A: You should receive an order confirmation email shortly after making your purchase, and you will receive shipping notification email with tracking number within 2 business days.

Warranty & Returns

Q: What is the Maktar® exchange and return policy?

We hope you love your purchase, but we understand that some things just don’t work out as planned. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with an item, you may return it to us for exchange or a full refund less any shipping charges and 15% of the item’s price for restocking fee. Returns must be delivered to us within 30 days of receipt.


Return shipment costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Returned goods must be delivered to us unused, in it’s original packaging and in the condition they were received. Otherwise they may not be eligible for refund. We cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost in return shipment, therefore we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. Please allow 1-2 weeks for your return to be processed. You can read our complete warranty & return policy here.


To make a return, email us at support@maktar.com to request a RMA ( Return Merchandise Authorization) form before you send your defective product back. Q: How do I return or exchange an order?

A: In order to request a shipping label for a return or exchange, please email us at support@maktar.com


 

Q: How long does it take for a refund to be processed ?

A: We aim to process all returns within a few days of receipt at our warehouse. Funds will be credited to the card used for purchase. You’ll get an email from us when the refund goes through. Credit card and PayPal refunds can take anywhere from 2-10 business days to appear on an online statement. Troubleshooting

Q: My Piconizer™ is not being recognized. What can I do ?

A: Please follow the steps below to check if Piconizer™ is connected to your i-Device.

 

  1. Make sure you take the cover off your Apple device such as the iPhone or iPad
  2. Turn off your i-device (iPhone or iPad) and restart it again
  3. Download the Piconizer™ app from Apple’s App store
  4. Turn on the App and plug in your Piconizer™
  5. Make sure the LED light on your Piconizer™ is on
  6. When the LED light is on, congratulations! It is connected.
